I decided to paint my Wilby Ethnic skin, this is a far longer process and requires many more thin layers of painting but I have enjoyed the time spent on him and I am happy with the result, I purchased the Wilby sculpt directly from Cassie Brace, I have been given sculpt number 56 of only 500 sold out. I hope you enjoy my pictures, he has a full detailed photo album available for further viewing via my dedicated Facebook page as well as video clips of him. www.facebook.com/rebornbabydollartuk

I used Genesis heat set paints to create Wilbys Ethnic skin tone, I have painted his eyebrows and sealed all my art work with a matte dry varnish. I used a light sheen varnish to create a look of moisture on his lips and I have given him naturally tipped nails and used the same light sheen varnish for a healthy glow.

Wilby is a sleeping baby with closed eyes, I have hand rooted his eyelashes.

I have hand rooted his hair using a Black premium mohair. His hair is soft and will be easy to take care of, this is sealed inside and you will be able to gently wash and comb, You must be gentle as this is a delicate aspect of a reborn baby.

Wilby has full limbs with a soft quality body, this is not the beige body provided by Cassie with the kit, I have had this body made especially for him in a dark brown to compliment his skin tone, this body is lovely and as I requested has a detailed bottom stitched in to the fabric.  I have weighted his limbs using fine glass granules, he has a weighted ball of fine glass granules in his bottom and in his head, surrounded with virgin fibre fill, he has a realistic feel when I pick him up and feels just the right amount of floppy, he is approx around 4.5lbs.

Wilby has a magnet fitted inside his head, as he is sucking his lip in this has been placed at the bottom of the mouth and I have custom made his dummies/paci to allow for the sucking in bottom lip, if you are going to make or purchase more dummies for him I would suggest dummies with flat surfaces, I use strong earth magnets and these are considered unsafe around pacemakers/medical equipment, (please message if you require the magnets to be removed)

Wilby is not suitable for a young child.

I have picked out a selection of clothing and accessories for Wilby.

He will come home with everything shown in his pictures as well as all the special Cassie Brace paper work, bag and pretty wooden toys.

I have also put together Wilbys own baby photo album for him to bring home to you along with his handmade personalised bib that I made for him using the personalised Wilby ribbon.

I will give Wilby my final piece of love and attention in preparing a beautiful box opening for you and will send with next day UK courier (I do ship worldwide and times may vary) (I will record his box packing and share this on Instagram once he has started his journey to you)
