I personally love a bigger baby, and this guy is so adorable! I have had so much fun creating Grant, he has been created using the 'Grant' sculpt by Michelle Fagan. I decided to keep Grant as a boy and to keep the name Michelle gave him, but you could obviously change this.

I have taken lots of pictures of Grant which are available to view via my Facebook page (link -  Facebook) and Instagram where I have given him a full online photo album of over 50 pictures and a video for further viewing.

(all his pictures have been taken in front of a window with natural light, but his video was filmed in my workshop using a ring light)

I have used Genesis heat set paints to build up his detailed skin tones, tipped and sealed nails, painted eyebrows, lightly varnished mouth and I used  'IArtReborn, Dewy skin' medium to complete his soft skin. I have given Grant Blue acrylic eyes with specially made doll eyelashes.

Grant is roughly the size of a 6-9 month old and I have weighted him approximately 9lbs as this gives him a realistic feel for a baby this size, he is a good weight to hold if you like a bigger baby.

Grant has full length arms and legs on a lovely soft cloth body and is evenly weighted in his legs and arms using glass beads and virgin fibre fill, I have weighted his head and he has weight in his bottom which is surrounded with fibre fill. he is a big heavy boy and his head is naturally floppy so will need supporting, like a real baby.

I have hand rooted Grants hair using a lovely soft deluxe dark brown mohair.  I have completely sealed this inside. I recommend using a new toothbrush to comb using a little bit of baby shampoo/conditioner with water. 

Grant is a larger baby and heavy, he is an great size but If you are considering adopting Grant for a younger collector, please keep in mind that he is NOT A TOY he is ART and contains small parts, He MUST be handled with LOVE. 

 Grant has a magnet fitted behind his mouth to hold his magnetic dummy  (The magnets I use are extremely strong neo magnets these can be potentially unsafe around pacemakers, PLEASE message me if these need to be removed)

Grant will be prepared with a lovely box opening, he will come home in a new box along with the new clothing shown in his pictures.

As well as his vintage waistcoat and his vintage woollen dungarees

He will be presented with tissue paper and ribbons
